In this website, globalisation has been cited as one of the main causes of air pollution, besides industrialisation and population growth. In effect, globlisation has become an effective facilitator of air pollution, thus causing a negative impact to the environment. Developing countries have much "looser laws" on environmental protection to build their production lines, hence TNCs prefers to move its facilities to such “pollution havens” rather than work in more regulated markets and to tap on their cheap labour resources.

  1. I agree that this article shows the bad side of capitalism. Capitalism and globalization does benefit a country.. but at who's expense? There is always a flip side to the silver lining.
